Having successfully raised £280k through crowd funding we have opened our Poole Hill Brewery producing our award winning ales in the heart of Bournemouth. We are now entering the next phase of our business; building the Southbourrne Ales and Tingay’s brands. In order to do this we are looking to invest in marketing, sales and with additional funds opening a chain of small Tingay’s branded bars in some of the countries busiest metropolises. To fund this we are releasing equity in our fourth round of crowd funding to raise up to £200k. Our Investment events give you the opportunity to see what we have achieved so far, discuss our plans and see if joining the Southbourne Brewing Limited owners club is right for you.
Check out the new Events for updates on weekly, monthly and special events happening at Poole Hill Brewery at the new events page. This will be updated with new special events when they are announced. For starters you can book on to the Father Day Brewery Tour and visit us at Wimborne Folk Festival on the 9th, 10th and 11th of June.
Celebrate the nuptials of Harry and Meghan with an evening of fun; live music by Dorset based and inspired Wikkaman, fancy dress with a “Best of British” theme (optional) with his and hers prizes and a buffet to keep you going till late.
We are pleased to inform everyone that tours are available daily at Poole Hill Brewery from 12pm to 4pm on the hour.
Tours will last for approximately 55 minutes and cost £10 per adult (£1 per child).
Booking is advised, using the main telephone number 01202 557583, but ‘walk-ins’ are also accepted, depending on the size of the current booked tour group.
Tours will be running throughout the year, which will include a visitor centre (once up and running), brewery information and time within the Victorian-inspired taproom so that our brilliant beers can be sampled.
Due to the state of the roads and pavements we have decided to remain closed today (Friday 2nd March). We will continue to monitor the situation and update you all as soon as we know the situation going forwards.
On the evening of Monday the 19th February the taproom hosted a brilliant information evening for both current and potential investors of Southbourne Brewing Limited.
The event was organised by Managing Director, and Head Brewery, Jennifer Tingay and was designed to give those in attendance an inside look as to where the business is currently and where it aims to be in the very near future. The third round of crowdfunding is now open for new investors, having already been incredibly successful within the current shareholders. The first two rounds raised the capital to lease and renovate the premises at Poole Hill, and this last round is designed to generate capital to improve different areas and prepare for the second stage of renovations.
In an effort to make as much progress as possible on completing the brewery construction we are going to be closing on Mondays and Tuesdays completely. Therefore hours will be 11am to 11pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
This is to give us time in the taproom, as one of the projects remaining is to replace the temporary front bar, and complete the necessary work to make the brewery side clean for beginning to brew.
We appreciate your support with this and plan to return to full opening hours in the near future.
